I think that this is only somewhat true because all depends on what type of person you are, you can shrug things off after a while. On the other hand, some people cannot do that. They have to confront what is bothering them in order to set them straight and to forget. It also makes you feel like that you have closure with that issue.
I think that I am one of those people that are in between because on certain things, I have to confront it and others I can just blow it off and forget that anything was wrong.
I agree because you can't solve a problem without realizing what it is and deciding to get rid of it. That would be like trying to get an answer to an algebra problem without knowing anything about it or what numbers to use.
This is definitely true. Whether the problem's big or small, you have to face it. Running from it solves nothing, and sometimes makes the problem worse. Even if it's a small, insignificant problem, you have to face it head on and admit it's a problem, even if the only action you take is shrugging it off and going on.
I think its true for the most part. If something happens or you make a mistake you can only fix it or move on by realizing what it is that went wrong. Then you can decide what to do or think or how to move on and overcome things. If you do nothing but run from your problems you'll only do more harm in the end.
Agree. If you don't face something you can't get over it. If you shove it to the back of your mind it's always going to be there. But if you face it you can completely get over it, instead of ignoring it.
I agree, but I think there's more than one way to face something. You could face something by simply recognizing that it's there, and that it's real, and that you can't deny it's existence. You can face something by confronting it, by finding a way to make it better so it will go away. So you could mentally or physically face something.
I agree in that statement because, in order to put the past behind you, you must face it. Whether the problem large or small, you've got to surpass it.
yes and no, its good to face your giants in order to not feel so small. BUT the past is the past and some things need to be left there. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else. Just my humble opinion :)
I agree with susans mother because if you hide from the truth it will always be there and you will know it and the harder you try to hide the truth it seems that it is there even more and by facing it you can get past it and you can start to forget about it.
I agree because to be able to solve and issue you have to talk to that person about it or try to work things out.... When you do though you can easily forgive them and then forget all about it and not have to worry about what's in the past.
Everyone has troubles in their life, and running form them will get you nowhere. you just need to man up and face the truth that sometimes your on your own to figure things out. But if you face your problems and try fixing them it's easier to put things behind you.
